This October, Waiheke comes together for Waiheke Island Wine Month - one island, one month, thirty days of unforgettable stories. It’s a curated celebration of wine, food, culture, and the people who bring this place to life.
Across the month, vineyards, restaurants, and local businesses will host winemaker dinners, masterclasses, cellar‑door exclusives, curated tastings, wine‑and‑wellness events, wine talks, and larger‑scale hospitality experiences. These are thoughtful, place‑led moments that reflect the character and diversity of Waiheke - experiences visitors can’t have at any other time of year.

Geléia. Meaning "jam" in Portuguese, this Waiheke-born collective has become a favourite on the island for their irresistible mix of Bossa Nova, Samba, Gypsy Jazz and hot-club swing. -

Casita Miro Jazz Series with Geléia
To close the series the golden tonsils of Tim Stewart join longtime bandmate and Winter Series '26 programmer Nick Atkinson on bass clarinet. This is the only chance this year you'll get to catch a whole evening of Hopetoun Brown. They've been Taite Prize finalists; they've rocked Splore and WOMAD. They're the horn section of choice for Marlon Williams, Tami Neilson and of course Supergroove! We're gonna have fun tonight as we kick winter in the ass and raise a toast with some of the finest wine on the isle!! -
