Stonyridge Vineyard is a world-renowned Cabernet-blend winegrower, located on the beautiful island of Waiheke, near Auckland, New Zealand.

We are dedicated to producing the finest Cabernet blends in the world (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot), combining traditional winemaking with meticulous organic viticulture.

Stonyridge Larose 2006 has outclassed the world’s best-known and respected wines in a blind tasting of 387 cabernet sauvignon blends held by Australia’s largest wine magazine Winestate in May 2011. Stonyridge Larose 2006’s 5 stars was awarded first equal place ahead of: Chateau Latour 2006 – 4 & 1/2 stars, Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2006 – 4 stars & Chateau Lafite Rothschild 2007 – 3 & 1/2 stars

Stonyridge Larose has been named as the top Cabernet Merlot in Australia for 2013 (Sydney Morning Herald and The Age annual guide Nov 2012) with a score of 97. It has also been named the top Bordeaux Blend in NZ in the NZ Herald (January 2013).

Our menu was created by our chef Koji Kininami, who has traveled extensively and developed a reputation for inspired cuisine from his time in the grotto with ‘Hef’ and BBQ’s on the back lawn with Paris.

We specialise in Waiheke and organic wines by the glass or bottle.We also boast our own olives and olive oil, which are often not available elsewhere.

Like many small premium wineries, we don’t offer free tastings at the vineyard. However, we would enjoy meeting you, and most of our wines are available by the glass in our beautiful Veranda Café overlooking our vineyard.
