Nestled amongst ancient pohutukawa, Kauaroa Bay is a family run vineyard and farm. Planted in 1997, they are a small winery growing Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes on gently rolling sunny north facing slopes that overlook the bay. All grapes are handpicked and carefully crafted into their boutique wines. After harvest you’ll find an eclectic mix of sheep, alpacas and donkeys grazing in the vines.
